Parents in Partnership (BwD PIP) work together to ensure that Parent Carer views and opinions are heard and that, as a Parent Carer, you have an opportunity to be actively involved in designing local services.

The team are all parents who volunteer to help shape service’s by working in co-production with providers and professionals within the borough, including Local Authority, NHS services and the Voluntary Sector. We are supported by the National Network of Parent Carer Forums. We also provide a supportive community for all parent carers in the borough.

Parents in Partnership support during COVID-19

Blackburn with Darwen Parents in Partnership (BWDPiP) are holding weekly 'Bring Your Own Brew' zoom meet-ups, offering a chance to take a well-earned break from trying to "home school". These online meetings have been set up temporarily until it is safe to restart meeting up in person.
