Healthier Living provides non-clinical HIV specialist advice, support, and information to any resident of Lancashire and Blackburn with Darwen living with or affected by HIV. The service aims to enable each person to manage their diagnosis and to reach their goals. The team are 

The Service will provide:

• Flexible person-centred approach tailored to the needs of the individual and their circumstances
• Information, advice, and support relating to HIV
• Advocacy
• Counselling
• Signposting or referrals on to other appropriate services
• Emotional one to one support
• Free and confidential HIV and Syphilis rapid testing
• Provide support and information to carers and family members
• Peer support groups (currently offered by WhatsApp)
• Education and awareness events
• Support on diagnosis – someone to listen to and help with immediate needs and concerns

The service also provides Public Sex Environment (PSE) outreach across Lancashire to men who have sex with men (MSM)
