Join us Trustee recruitment Help us to make a real difference to the lives of our local community Care Network is now at an important stage of our development and we are seeking to grow our board of trustees. We want to fulfil our potential as an innovative Home Improvement Agency, building on our established safe trader scheme, and we also want to develop our central information hub that provides access to relevant health and wellbeing options, so that people can live a better life. We already have a strong team of trustees in place and are keen to complement their skills with the addition of new trustees who could help the charity to thrive and grow. We’re currently seeking a number of new trustee positions including a new Honorary Treasurer and other trustees to help take our work forward into the 2020’s. We are aiming to maintain a diverse Board drawing on a broad range of skills and backgrounds. In particular, we are looking for people who have experience in the following areas: Financial services or accountancy Commercial business management and expertise Legal Links with / knowledge of the health agenda You will need to be a sound strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, and be able to demonstrate significant senior level experience. We are seeking candidates who can contribute to the overall strategy and direction of the charity, through effective participation at board meetings and who can support the charity in meeting challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. This position is non-remunerated although travel expenses will be reimbursed. The board meets 6 times a year. This includes 4 quarterly business meetings and 2 strategic planning sessions.
