If you are struggling as a result of Covid with paying your fuel bills or if you are having problems with your heating then there may be support available to you.

Care Network, the Council and partners have been working together to develop a programme of support that can help our most vulnerable residents access much needed support

The support available is available to those that have been affected by Covid with a focus on the three following areas:

  • Support with utility bills – gas electric and water
  • Support with essential items – support is available to replace broken washers, cookers, fridges and freezers, for boiler servicing and repairs and where families are struggling to afford essential toiletries, sanitary products, warm clothing and blankets.
  • Support to access food

The Help Hub is the central point of contact for the Winter Grant Scheme.  People can self-refer by telephoning the Help Hub (01254 588111) between 9 - 5 pm or anytime via the online form if they prefer.
