• 🪪 You can have a card with symbols
• 💻 You can apply online
• 💷 There is a cost
• 📱 You can also use it digitally
• 🤝 Carla can help people apply

🧠 Research about Autism

• 👩 Louise spoke to us
• 🎓 She works as a Speech and Language Therapist at Lancashire and South Cumbria Foundation Trust.
• Louise is currently doing a research project with Sheffield Hallam University  and would like help with her research.

💡 Her research is about:

• ❤️ Emotions
• 👂 Body signals
• 😊 Wellbeing

📚 We learned:

• Some people find it hard to explain feelings
• We have different senses

🎬 We watched a video from Dinosaur (on BBC iPlayer). 
You can watch the series – the video clip showed an autistic lady and how she showed her feelings.

👩 Victoria told us

• 📅 15th – 21st June will be Learning Disability Week

🎶 Celebration event will take place:

• 📍 Artisan Café and Wine Bar
• 💷 £5 ticket (includes food + disco)

🎤 Heroes Unmuted (new Drama Group)

• 🎭 Performance on 7th August

🎨 Creative Heroes

• 🎭 Making costumes, props and makeup for the performance
