Healthy Homes Liaison Officer

Salary: £23,569 per annum plus 10% pension contribution (after a 3-month probationary period).

Hours: 37 hours per week

Contract: Fixed term contract to 30th June 2026

We are developing our successful Home Improvement Agency delivery in the borough and are looking to appoint a pro-active Liaison Officer to help further expand our Healthy Homes offer. The ideal person for this role will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering our Healthy Homes project, ensuring the service is promoted and delivered borough wide.
  • Supporting local homeowners to live safe and healthy lives in their homes.

What’s in it for you?

  • 25 days paid holiday plus Bank/Public Holidays per annum.
  • General hours of work are between Monday - Friday, within 9.00am and 5.00pm, with a half hour unpaid lunch.

The nature of the post will require regular travel across the Blackburn with Darwen area.  A full driving licence, appropriate insurance cover and use of a car are essential.
