Join us for a special Autism Awareness Event here at Care Network 🌈🙌

To celebrate World Autism Acceptance Month & World Autism Awareness Day 2025, we will be hosting a special event - raising awareness of Autism & offering support to our local community here in Blackburn with Darwen!

The event will take place after our Hear Us Heroes Meeting on:
📅 Wednesday 2nd April

This is an inclusive & welcoming event, please feel free to just turn up on the day. We'll be joined by the Wellbeing Service from BwD's Re:fresh who will be running a fun activity for everyone to enjoy!

We plan to start from approximately 1pm, but please note this is subject to slight change following our Hear Us Heroes lunch.

We hope to see you there!

Support from The National Autistic Society

Autistic people face discrimination & barriers across all sectors of society – in the health & social care systems, in education, in employment & everywhere in between. It is crucial that autistic people, their families & carers can access tailored information, guidance & support to overcome those barriers, along with opportunities to explore their interests, develop skills & build friendships for fulfilled lives.
