Care Network is hosting Blackburn with Darwen’s Biggest Housewarming on Fuel Poverty Awareness Day and you are invited! We will be raising awareness of the risks linked to people living in cold homes, as well as the support available to help people combat fuel poverty.

At this time of year with the temperatures so low, more and more people are finding it difficult to keep themselves warm at home. People living in fuel poverty is more common than it should be in this day. Care Network is working with National Energy Action (NEA) to make keeping warm at home more achievable.

Our housewarming will offer you information and support on...

• Accessing grants to keep your home warm
• Boiler servicing and home insulation
• Advice around managing fuel debt
• Getting the most out of your benefits
• Priority Services Register
• Keeping your bills down
• Switching energy provider

There will also be food and drinks to warm you up as well as slow cookers to win.
