A social group with British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter support for the Deaf community in Blackburn with Darwen. The group provides a place for deaf sign language users to meet up, as well as benefit from support with day to day needs such as letter translations, phone calls, and finding out about activities and offers available to all in the borough. 

The group aims to:

  • raise awareness of the existence of the Deaf community and provide a space where they can also belong
  • work with the group to develop further 'access and inclusion' initiatives and opportunities in the borough
  • provide information about services, events and activities available to support all adults in Blackburn with Darwen

Where: Care Network Hub

When: 4th Thursday monthly, 1- 3pm, including: 28 November, *19 December,  23 December, 27 February, 26 March
