Blackburn with Darwen Parents in Partnership Blackburn with Darwen Parents in Partnership (BWDPiP) hold a monthly coffee morning and peer support group for Parent Carers of children and young adults 0-25 with special educational needs or disabilities, to enjoy tea, coffee, cake and time out at Care Network Hub. Parents in Partnership work together to ensure that Parent Carer views and opinions are heard and that, as a Parent Carer, you have an opportunity to be actively involved in designing local services. Blackburn with Darwen Parents in Partnership (BWDPiP) are a Parent Carer led group and they help to shape service’s by working with providers and professionals within the borough, including Local Authority, NHS services and the Voluntary Sector.
