Mr S recently contacted the Care Network helpdesk as his mother, who is in her 80s, was due to move in to his home following a recent hip operation. His mother also has a sight impairment and therefore the home needed to be ready to accommodate her mobility issues and disability.read more

Mariyam – Customer

Mariyam grew up in a fairly typical Asian/British household. She went to school and college locally and then took a job in retail. Like many girls of her age she wanted to get married, settle down and have children. She was delighted when her dream came true and at 21 she married her childhood sweetheart. read more

Rychard – Customer

In May 2014 Rychard and his brother Tom came to Care Network’s offices in need of immediate help. Their mother, who has been using Care Network since 2005, had been admitted to hospital in an emergency due to having had a serious fall at home. Since then Rychard and his brother have accessed 14 different home and well-being services to help prepare for her return from hospital, with the sole aim of ensuring that she can live safe, well and independent for the long term. read more

Elizabeth – Customer

Elizabeth has been using Care Network since 2006 and has used many different services including a Care Network electrician, plumber, joiner and handyperson and also got advice from us when the digital switchover happened. “I originally rang Care Network to get my shed fixed, nearly ten years ago and they did such a good job that it has lasted until now and is still going strong!” read more

Kathleen has been using Care Network since 2004 and has used us nearly 4 times for many different services, including painting and decorating, electrical work, gas heating maintenance, the assisted shopping service and others. Kathleen couldn’t do without Care Network and always recommends the service to family and friends as she knows she will get a good quality tradesperson. read more

Kim – Marie sits in the café looking bright and alert on a lovely sunny day that matches her 100 watt smile. As we order coffee she is anxious to tell me about a trip she went on last week with the young women she is currently befriending as a Care Network volunteer. read more

Caroline Morrison-Pinches and her husband Phil have been using Care Network since it started in 2003. Over the ten years they have used Care Network nearly 40 times, using a variety of services including electricians, joiners and assisted shopping amongst others. read more
