How do we ensure services are reliable?

People are often afraid to employ someone to do tasks such as home maintenance and gardening because they are afraid of bogus callers, poor quality workmanship or over-charging. Care Network takes that worry away from people. Some of the Care Network services are already in existence and some are being developed in consultation with the partnership based on information gathered from customers about their needs.

The services are quality assured and affordable, so people are able to use the services in confidence. With all new and existing providers we ensure they operate within our Quality Framework and so all service providers must have criminal records bureau checks for staff, references from previous service users, complaints and quality procedures ( and we can assist providers in developing these), audited accounts and professional and up to date insurances such as Public and Employee Liability.

A New Provider Pack gives guidance on Care Network philosophy and quality requirements.These include suitable policies and procedures, CRB checks, financial viability, industry standards, references, insurance, health and safety and ID badges.  All services are monitored for customer satisfaction. 

Complaints, Comments, Compliments

When we get a complaint we take it seriously. Your complaint is passed to the provider of whichever Care Network service it is about. 

They carry out a thorough investigation and contact you with a full explanation. Should you still be unhappy you have the right to request that your complaint be reviewed by the Care Network Review Panel.

It is always useful to know if Care Network is providing good services that meet your needs. Should you want to compliment a particular service please let us know so that we can pass it on.
