Welcome to the new Care Network website

Care Network has launched a brand new website which we hope you will find helpful in providing advice and information on the Network and the services we provide.

In a world that is becoming increasingly reliant upon information technology, it is vital that we ensure people aren't left out. It is equally important that we challenge stereotypes about people being afraid of new technology - the popularity of the internet with all age groups demonstrates that is simply not the case.

James Purnell MP, the Department for Work and Pensions Minister with responsibility for E-Government, voiced his support for the use of IT:

"Internet usage can increase independence and empower people. It is an essential tool for communicating with the world. It can help to reduce social isolation - for example for older people with limited mobility or with family members abroad."

The new website has been designed in partnership with Brick Technologies to be user friendly for everyone and will develop and expand to include more and more information as time goes by.
