Have you got a list of workmen?
No we don’t give out lists; we contact the service provider on your behalf and refer you on to them through a referral process.
How much does it cost?
All the Care Network services are affordable some are charged at an hourly rate and our workmen will be happy to provide free estimates.
Are the workmen reliable and trustworthy?
Yes, all the Care Network service providers are quality assured and have been checked with the Criminal Records Bureau. You can feel safe and confident in using the services.
When will they come to do the work?
Once the referral has been taken by the Helpdesk you will be contacted by the Service provider direct, usually within a week sometimes sooner depending on the type of service required.
How do I pay for my services?
You agree the cost and pay the service provider directly. The provider will supply a written estimate of the work you require or an hourly rate depending on the service chosen.
Do the providers have identification badges?
All providers of Care Network services are required to have ID badges and these must be shown at every visit.
Who qualifies for a service?
Anyone needing support to live independently can access Care Network services, for example you may not have many social contacts, you may not able to do some of the things you used to do such as go shopping on your own, you may need some help with jobs like keeping the house clean and tidy, decorating or gardening.
There is no income restriction for people using Care Network services.
